The Taoist philosophy of CONCENTRATION emphasizes the importance of being fully present in the moment and cultivating a deep focus on one’s surroundings. This state of concentration allows for a deeper connection to the natural world and a more profound understanding of the interconnection between all things.

An insightful Taoist tale that illustrates this philosophy is the story of the Taoist farmer. One day, the farmer’s horse ran away, and his neighbors came to console him. But the farmer replied, “Who knows what’s good or bad?” The next day, the horse returned, bringing with it a wild horse. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on his good fortune, but again he replied, “Who knows what’s good or bad?”

Later that week, the farmer’s son attempted to ride the wild horse, but he was thrown off and broke his leg. Once again, the neighbors came to offer their sympathy, but the farmer repeated, “Who knows what’s good or bad?” Soon after, a war broke out, and the government drafted all the young men in the village to fight, but the farmer’s son was exempted due to his injury.

This tale highlights the Taoist concept of wu wei, which emphasizes the importance of letting go of control and allowing life to unfold naturally. It also underscores the importance of cultivating a state of concentration and mindfulness, which enables us to see beyond the surface level of events and to recognize the hidden interconnections between them.

When it comes to the healing frequencies found in crystals, Taoist philosophy emphasizes the importance of being fully present and attuned to the energies of the natural world. Crystals each carry a unique vibrational frequency that can help to balance and harmonize the energy of the body, mind, and spirit. By focusing on the unique qualities of each crystal you can begin to uncover  a deep connection to a universal energy source.

In Taoist philosophy, the process of concentration and mindfulness is seen as essential to achieving a deeper understanding of the natural world and the interconnection between all things. Whether we are working with crystals, practicing meditation, or simply observing the world around us, this state of deep focus and presence can help us to cultivate a greater sense of peace, balance, and harmony in our lives.
